The secondment of Patrique Fiedler (TUIL) takes place from December 1st to May 31st 2016 at Villa Serena. Mr. Fiedler will contribute to the system prototype testing, and to validate the pre-processing SW developed at BIND-UdA. The cap prototypes will be validated on athletes (at BIND) and neurological patients (Villa Serena). He will support the data acquisition as well as results evaluation. He will further investigate methods and techniques to improve the dry EEG setup and determine possible optimizations for the next prototypes. Mr Fiedler will introduce the Italian partners to the differences of dry EEG acquisition. In addition he will learn about the artifact detection toolboxes and will get first-hand experience in realistic acquisition scenarios of clinical and research applications.
