During the 2nd International Conference on Basic and Clinical Multimodal Imaging, held on 1-5 September 2015 in Utrecht (Netherlands), several Fellow of the ANDREA consortium – namely Prof. Silvia Comani (BIND-UdA), Prof. Jens Haueisen (TUIL), Dr. Uwe Graichen (TUIL) and Patrique Fiedler (TUIL) presented results of the ANDREA project, and its potential impact for basic and applied research in Human Neuroscience. This joint conference of several international societies aims for the promotion and dissemination of noninvasive imaging methods that allow to understand human brain and heart function and dysfunction. The meeting brings together around 200 scientists, professionals, engineers and clinicians in various disciplines of biomedical engineering and its applications to discuss the newest methodological advances in imaging methodologies and their experimental and clinical applications.
