VDE is the German Electrical Engineers association. Among many other activities, VDE gives out statements to the general public and also to the scientific and professional communities. Recently, we were involved into lightning safety issues in the German expert commission and did some simulations for that. Those simulations were based on our finite element models used also for our EEG computations. The report enclosed (in German) was published on the web page of VDE (www.vde.com/blitzunfaelle) and a more extensive version internally for members.
