2018European Researcher’s Nights in Chieti (Italy)

2018Lecture at the Salzmann – School in Waltershausen, Germany
Prof. Haueisen gave a lecture at the Salzmann – School in Waltershausen entitled “Why is current flowing in the brain?”. The talk explained current Neuroscience and BME concepts for pupils and parents (about 40 participants). The event was co-organized by the German VDI and covered in a press release of VDI and also covered in a local newspaper.

2018Opening talk and invited plenary lecture at the 2nd International Conference on Recent Advances in Material Chemistry (ICRAMC 2018) in Chennai, India
Prof. Haueisen gave an opening talk (about 3000 participants) and an invited plenary lecture (about 300 participants) at the 2nd International Conference on Recent Advances in Material Chemistry (ICRAMC 2018) in Chennai, India. Parts of the talk were broadcasted by several Indian TV stations.

2017Eighth Supervisory Board Meeting
The 8th Supervisory Board Meeting of the ANDREA Project was held on December 6th, 2017. The supervisory board meeting was moderated by Prof. Silvia Comani, BIND-UdA. Representatives for all partner institutions of the network participated and discussed the status, outcome as well as ongoing and future cooperations following of the ANDREA project.

2017Invited talk at the 6th Asian-Oceanian Congress of Clinical Neurophysiology (AOCCN), Bengaluru, India
On Thursday, 09.11.2017, Prof. Haueisen gave an invited talk at the 6th Asian-Oceanian Congress of Clinical Neurophysiology (AOCCN). 9th-12th November 2017, Bengaluru, India, entitled “Online MEG data analysis with MNE-CPP”. The talk took place during the MEG/EEG workshops and 26 conference participants discussed latest developments for brain measurements and MEG/EEG analysis.

2017Invited talk at the International Conference on Neuroscience & Buddhist Psychology, New Delhi, India
On Saturday, 04.11.2017, Prof. Haueisen gave an invited talk at the International Conference on Neuroscience & Buddhist Psychology, 4th-5th November 2017, New Delhi, India, entitled “EEG & MEG measurements of brain functions with relation to mental health”. 2017Students from TUIL visit BIND-UdA
Two master students from TUIL visited BIND-UdA for an extensive collaborative work period of 14 days. The students received a prior training at TUIL in biomedical engineering, EEG signal acquisition and processing.
