On April 27th 2017 a fellow of the Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Informatics – Eva Maria Dölker – gave an interview for the radio station “Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk” (MDR, Central German Broadcasting) in the frame of the “Girl’s day 2017” at the Ilmenau University of Technology. Discussed topics included the measurement of bioelectric activity of the human body including electroencephalography, current research topics at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering as well as aspects and possible future career opportunities for students and young scientists. The MDR is a public broadcasting station focusing on the federal states of Thuringia, Saxony, and Saxony-Anhalt. Nevertheless, the station can be received all over Germany.
