On 14th October 2016 the CampusThüringenTour was invited to the Institute of Biomedical Engineering at TUIL. Multiple applications of conventional and dry electrode technologies for Encephalography have been presented to a group of about 18 female pupils. The ANDREA project was presented as an example for multidiscliplinary and international research including its specific goals, implemented, and the potential future impact of the use of dry electrodes for electroencephalographic monitoring. Subsequently, the participants had the opportunity to test dry electrodes and electroencephalography themselves. The students showed big interest in this novel technology and its possible applications and impact in medical and social areas.
