On 25 May 2015 the University “G. d’Annunzio” of Chieti-Pescara organized an Open Day on Research on the occasion of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of its foundation. The event, organized by the Department of Medicine and Aging Science to which the BIND Center is affiliated, focused on the relationship between organization and research (download the flyer here). At the end of the first part of the event, which included a keynote lecture of the President of the Italian National University Council on the future of research in Italy, the main research activities of the Department affiliates were presented to researchers from various scientific areas, mainly related to Medicine. Prof. Comani presented a poster summarizing the aims, activities, preliminary results and foreseen impacts of the ANDREA Project to the about 100 attendees (download the poster here), and answered to several questions. The general impression was that of a great interest in the new technologies developed within ANDREA and in their potential impact for clinical and basic science applications.
